Ideally, you would use a staging/UAT/developer version of your site to test the deployment of this product. If that's not an option, one of the best ways to test your announcement bar before you deploy it across your site is to use URL targeting.

By applying a rule requiring a URL path to contain/start with/exactly match a specific string, such as an unused parameter, you can control where the announcement bar shows.

For example:

  1. Create a rule using the 'Exactly Matches' operator
  2. Set the value to ?test=true
  3. View your announcement bar at https://your-site.com/?test=true

From your dashboard, under the 'Announcement bar options' section, find the 'Custom font' option. To use the feature, simply enter the name of the font you're using (as defined in your site's CSS).

Important note 1: to use a custom font it must already be loaded onto your website.
